JONATHAN ALDER MUSIC BOOSTERS

THE MISSION OF THE MUSIC BOOSTERS IS TO PROVIDE ORGANIZATIONAL AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAM IN GRADES 5 THROUGH 12 AT JONATHAN ALDER

*Escape to a land of fairy tales: where Cinderella meets her prince, where Jack climbs the beanstalk, where Rapunzel confronts the witch, and where Little Red Riding Hood fights the wolf. Join us for the tale that intertwines beloved fairy-tales with a sinister twist.

Into The Woods will be performed on the JAHS Stage on:

March 14th @ 7 PM

March 15th @ 7 PM

March 16th @ 7 PM

March 17th @ 2 PM

Tickets will be available starting January 25 at 10:00 am.

HELP IS NEEDED FOR MUSICAL!

Do you love to cook? Do you like power tools? Do you like fashion? Do you like shopping? IF SO....WE NEED YOU!!

Please go to our "Volunteer" page and select the areas that you would be interested in helping support our Performing Arts students in this fantastic spring event. Remember, lots of hands make light work.

ATTENTION SENIORS!!!

Our Music Booster Scholarship and the Anne Gorman Scholarship  deadlines have passed. We will post the winners here after they're announced at spring concerts.

Scholarship info:

The Jonathan Alder Music Boosters give 6  $500 scholarships to seniors every year. We give 3 to choir students and 3 to band students. Every Senior who has been in band or choir for two years, including their Senior year,  is eligible to apply for a scholarship.

The scholarship committee collects the applications and essays. The essays are then given to individuals who are not in our community and not connected in any way to Jonathan Alder. They go through several readings before being selected as the scholarship winners.

Donations to support the Music Boosters' efforts are accepted at any time.  All donations go directly to our performing arts students at Jonathan Alder Schools.
