*One of the most fun and engaging opportunities for students at Jonathan Alder Junior High, is to participate in the Choral Program. Students learn how to become independent leaders and how to collaborate as one team. Choir members will perform a variety of music, spanning Beethoven to Post Malone. The purpose of singing such a diverse selection of music is to explore different types of cultures and musical tastes to create a well-rounded musical education. Students not only sing in the classroom, but will also participate in fun events, such as our annual JAM Fest or in researching an artist of their choice. The possibilities are endless in this program that provides an outlet for students across all grade levels and shepherds a deep love and appreciation for music.
