DID YOU KNOW....

That it takes  272 people  to make our concession stand a success during Marching Band Season (some call it football season!),  87 people  to help our Band Show rock and  30 people  to keep our band students fed during band camp? 

 Please check out the VOLUNTEER  tab to the left.  All volunteer opportunities are ready to go for our Fall season. 

Lots of helping hands make light work for everyone. 



ATTENTION SENIORS!!! 

Our Music Booster Scholarship and the Anne Gorman Scholarship deadlines have passed. We will post the winners here after they're announced at the  spring concerts.

Scholarship info: 

The Jonathan Alder Music Boosters give 6  $500 scholarships to seniors every year. We give 3 to choir students and 3 to band students. Every Senior who has been in band or choir for two years, including their Senior year,  is eligible to apply for a scholarship.

The scholarship committee collects the applications and essays. The essays are then given to individuals who are not in our community and not connected in any way to Jonathan Alder. They go through several readings before being selected as the scholarship winners. 

Donations to support the Music Boosters' efforts are accepted at any time.  All donations go directly to our performing arts students at Jonathan Alder Schools.
